"The Expert" magazine (issue #44, October 26th, 2015) published a rapturous article about Tom Wood’s "The Killer".

~ The tension with which we follow the twists and turns of the main character’s life reminds of the classic political thriller The Day of the Jackal by Frederick Forsyth. Like Forsyth the author of the Killer intrigues us by depicting all the details of the professional workings and creating the dynamic crime story with absolutely unexpected plot twists.

~ Unlike Forsyth’s Jackal who is a killer machine and the incarnation of the coldhearted evil, the main character of the Killer is more ambiguous. Perhaps because he has to fight for his life against the most immoral forces who use treason and villainy. As a natural result while unwinding this opposition the author is making his killer much more humane - in such a way that the reader even sympathizes with him in his vicious fight with the enemy.

~ Tom Wood creates an atmosphere so authentic and realistic that the readers follow his imagination with great interest.
